New Zealand 2007

I spent 5 weeks in Feb/Mar 2007 enjoying the biking and hiking on the North Island.

I met Randy in the town of National Park, and we started our holiday with several days of backpacking in Tongariro National Park.
We then loaded up our bicycles and spent a month doing a semi-circle route that took us eventually back to Auckland.
If you have seen the movie "Whale Rider", we were in that area -- remote, Mauri, beautiful, beaches, forests.
